Jodhpur (Rajasthan). In a thrilling contest between NSUI’s Harendra Choudhary and SFI’s Arvind Singh Bhati, Harendra Choudhary was defeated by a margin of 905 votes for the post of President of Jai Narayan Vyas University (JNVU) Students’ Union.

In the initial four rounds, there was a nail-biting contest. Still, in the final round, Arvind Singh Bhati secured his victory by taking the lead in a one-sided fashion.
Arvind Singh Bhati got 5,142, Harendra Choudhary seized 4,237 votes, and Rajveer Singh Banta got 608 votes. While 44 votes went to NOTA and 236 votes were rejected.
