Jaipur: Transport Secretary and Commissioner Ravi Jain (IAS) have instructed all RTOs & DTOs to make serious efforts to achieve the revenue targets in all earnest.
Commissioner Jain was addressing VC attended by all DTOs, RTOs along with senior officers of the department.
Jain cautioned the RTOs of any negligence in revenue collection as the department basically was a revenue collection department that is used for various developmental activities of the state. Jain said that with unlock 4.0 on the corner many economic activities had resumed.
Jain was upset that some districts were hiding behind reasons like non-functioning of the software for the low revenue collection. He said there were proper arrangements at the HQ for resolving all the genuine problems faced by them.
The VC was also attended by additional transport commissioner Mahendra Kumar Khinchi, RC Yadav, Joint transport commissioner Vinod Kumar, Dr. Bhajanlal Rolan along with other officers.
