Jaipur: Late on Tuesday night, the state government issued orders appointing Director General (Crime) ML Lathar as the next DGP of Rajasthan Police.
The top cop has been made DGP for a term of two years. Moreover, he has also been promoted to apex scale as well.
Notably, Lathar had been discharging his duties as acting DGP as well since former DGP Dr Bhupendra Yadav took VRS.
