On August 24, Medical Secretary Shri Vaibhav Galaria has given instructions that all the hospitals affiliated with the Government Medical Colleges should immediately start providing the benefits of Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme to every citizen at a speedy pace. He said that this is a visionary plan of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot, which will provide great benefits to the local citizens in fighting the pandemic and other diseases.
In the virtual meeting organized by the Government Secretariat on Tuesday. In the meeting, Cardiology, CTVS, General Medicine, General Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology and Radiation, Trauma, Ophthalmology-Ent. And the implementation of Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme in orthopaedic departments was also discussed.
Medical Education Secretary also appreciated Kota Medical College for the effective implementation of Chiranjeevi Yojana. He directed all the hospitals to take care that the requests of the patients should not get rejected at any cost. For this, all the documents of the patient should be uploaded on the website in due course. Along with this, instructions were also given to give priority to the Chiranjeevi Yojana to the beneficiaries and personal monitoring of the patients.
In the same meeting, the Chief Executive Officer of Rajasthan State Health Assurance Agency, Ms Aruna Rajoria, gave a presentation about the implementation of the scheme in the state. He also gave some suggestions regarding effective implementation of the scheme, including single package, use of integrated software, taking Jan Aadhar number while admitting patients, monitoring according to speciality, increasing the numbers of Chiranjeevi counter in hospital premises and encouraging staff etc.
In this meeting, Medical Education Commissioner Mrs Shivangi Swarnakar and other officers of the department, as well as the Heads of Departments of Government Medical Colleges, also participated. The first phase of this review meeting was held on Tuesday. The second and third phases of the review meeting will be held on August 25 and 26.
