Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert, stars from Dancing With the Stars, got married in Monterey County, California’s Redwood Forest.
The couple celebrated their special day with celebrity friends like Julianne Hough, Nina Dobrev, Jenna Johnson, Maria Menounos, and Shaun White. Mark Ballas, another star from the show, stood as Derek’s best man.
Speaking to PEOPLE and Brides, Erbert said, “We married in front of this big tree. It felt like a fairy tale.”
Their first dance was to “Fall Into Me” by Forest Blakk. They chose to enjoy the moment instead of putting on a show. “We wanted to be in the moment together,” said Hough.
The couple announced their engagement in 2022 on Instagram with a beautiful picture surrounded by flowers and candles. Before the wedding, Hough shared a touching video and a song about their relationship on Instagram.
Erbert replied to the post, saying, “I love you so much. Thank you for choosing me.”
The couple will dance together on their “Symphony of Dance” tour, starting on September 28. Derek will also judge on the next season of Dancing With the Stars.
