On Friday, September 10 in Jaipur Dr.B.D.Kalla who is energy and public health and engineering minister did Bhoomipujan and foundation stone of Corona ward which is to be built in Bikaner District Hospital Renew Power will spend 70 lakhs and Rajasthan renewable energy corporation (rrec) is going to spend 65 lakhs for this purpose. Dr.Kalla said that the people in the urban areas should get more advantage of district hospitals along with all modern medical facilities and for this, the important works are given priority.
1 crore rupees were given for a newborn baby care unit at the district hospital. The MLA team invested 45 lakh rupees for setting an oxygen-generated plant and gave two ambulances to the district hospital worth rupees 35 lakhs. Here other facilities will also be given as per the need. District hospitals will also provide services like gynecologists and anesthesia. Till the arrangements are made he ordered the medical college principal to provide the services of gynecologists and anesthesia from PBM hospital to the district hospital two days a week.
The energy minister Dr.Kalla said Bikaner is greatly developing in the medical field. Bikaner provides the best medical facilities for cancer and heart disease. MLA team gave 1 crore for creating different hospitals for treatment of infectious diseases in PBM hospital.
Dr.Kalla also said that he will continue to work for the development of Bikaner as it is his first priority. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also gave several gifts. Budget for dairy science, public health, Ayurveda colleges have been sanctioned this year. The state government started new facilities in dungar and MS colleges. Special attention is being given to make the road system strong in the district.
To ensure youth’s participation in the overall development of the district Dr. Kalla said them to come forward as businessmen. He explained that the common man plays an important role in keeping the city clean. In concern for the third wave of the corona, he requested everyone to follow corona guidelines.
Dr. Mukesh Arya principal of Sardar Patel medical college said that this corona ward will be a great help for the district hospital because it will increase the capacity of the hospital by 50 beds. Deepak Purohit from Renew power said that in the bad conditions of corona all the corporate units have given their best. Renew Power has also worked for social welfare.
Superintendent of Bikaner District Hospital Dr. Praveen Chaturvedi gave a short welcome speech where chief medical and health officer Dr. O.P. Chahar etc. were also present.
