Jaipur, 3 September. Chief Secretary Shri Niranjan Arya expressed satisfaction over the speedy and time-bound disposal of most of the cases going to various departments under Earmarked for Action and Response System (CLEARS) and Pink Letters System (PLS).
He asked the departmental secretaries to prepare proposals on the basis of their experience. He also asked them to keep in mind the suggestions given by the district collectors regarding the effective implementation of the schemes. This is to ensure that the general public at the grassroots level would be benefited.
Mr Arya was reviewing ‘Clears’ and ‘Pink Letters System’ through a video conference at the Government Secretariat on Monday. He did a detailed review of all the pending cases. He directed the officers for their speedy disposal. He also said that the cases falling under ‘Clears’ and ‘PLS’ should be resolved and updated on the online system.
The Chief Secretary said that all the district collectors have given reformative and innovative suggestions for good governance and effective implementation of the schemes. Arya instructed the departmental secretaries to study the suggestions related to their departments. He asked them to prepare proposals in the next seven days. He said that through innovations, the way of taking the benefits of departmental schemes to the last person would be easy.
The Principal Secretaries of Government and Secretaries of Government of all major departments attended the meeting through video conferencing.
