Panchayati Raj General Election 2021, 66.55 per cent voters cast their vote in the second phase

Jaipur, 29 August. Under the general elections of Panchayati Raj 2021, for 147 Panchayat Samiti members and 19 Zilla Parishad members, the second phase was completed on Sunday at 1162 polling stations in Fagi, Madhorajpura, Kishangarh Renwal, Sambharlek, Jobner, Dudu, Maujmabad and Govindgarh Panchayat Samitis. In the voting, 66.55 percent of voters exercised their franchise.

District Election Officer (Panchayat) and District Collector Antar Singh Nehra informed that the second phase of polling was completed in a peaceful, smooth and orderly manner. A total of 5 lakh 39 thousand 522 voters exercised their franchise in the second phase.

Out of total 8 lakh 10 thousand 746 voters of the eight Panchayat Samitis, one lakh 12 thousand 270 voters till 10 am, 2 lakh 23 thousand 100 voters till 12 noon, 3 lakh 98 thousand 780 voters till 3 pm using their franchise And till 5.30 pm, 5 lakh 26 thousand 360 voters exercised their franchise.

Till the voting process is over, a total of 49 thousand 861 in Fagi Panchayat Samiti, 48 thousand 219 in Madhorajpura, 59 thousand 31 in Kishangarh Renwal, 62 thousand 43 in Sambhar Lake, 54 thousand 303 in Jobner, 51 thousand 676 in Dudu, 63 thousand 479 in Maujmabad Panchayat Samiti And in Govindgarh Panchayat Samiti, 1 lakh 50 thousand 910 voters exercised their franchise.

Shri Nehra informed that in the third phase of elections, on 1st September, in seven Panchayat Samitis, Aandhi, Jamwa Ramgarh, Bassi, Tunga, Chaksu, Kotkhawada and Sanganer Panchayat Samiti, 133 Panchayat Samitis and 15 Zilla Parishad members will be elected at a total of 3184 polling stations.

Voting will take place. The polling teams for the third phase will leave for their destination polling stations from Bhawani Niketan Educational Institute on Tuesday, August 31.

During the second phase of polling, District Election Officer and District Collector Shri Nehra inspected several polling stations in Fagi, Madhorajpura, Dudu, Sambhar Lake areas. During the polling, the Joint Secretary of the Election Observer PHED, Smt. Pushpa Satyani spoke to Renwal Manjhi, Madhorajpura, Harsulia, Nimeda, Mandwas, Nareda, Biharipura and Mouzamabad, Dhamana, Dudu, Norangpura of Sambhar, Tyend, Sinodia Sambhar, Jobner of Fagi Panchayat Samiti. Dhani Nagan, Dehra, Jaitpura-Khejroli.
