Jaipur, 1 September. Under the General Election 2021 of Panchayati Raj Institutions, 133 Panchayat Samiti members and 15 Zilla Parishad members was held on Wednesday. It is the third phase of polling. It was held in Andhi, Jamwaramgarh, Bassi, Tunga, Chaksu, Kotkhavda and Sanganer Panchayat Samitis at a total of 998 polling stations. Almost 65.77 per cent of voters exercised their right to vote.
On Wednesday itself, voting was also held for Panchayat Samiti members in ward number 12 of Biratnagar Panchayat Samiti.
District Election Officer (Panchayat) and District Collector Antar Singh Nehra informed that the third phase of polling was completed in a peaceful, smooth and orderly manner. A total of 4 lakh 54 thousand 887 voters exercised their right to vote in the third phase.
A total of 6 lakh 86 thousand 430 voters of the seven Panchayat Samitis and 5205 voters of Ward 12 of Biratnagar voted on the day. 94 thousand 915 voters were done voting till 10 am. 2 lakh 11 thousand 72 till 12 noon. 3 lakh 48 thousand 76 voters till 3 pm and almost 4 lakh 45 thousand 211 voters had finished voting till 5.30 pm.
Till the voting process was over, 57 thousand 62 in Andhi Panchayat Samiti, 79 thousand 813 in Bassi Panchayat Samiti, 52 thousand 881 in Chaksu Panchayat Samiti, 84 thousand 14 in Jamwaramgarh Panchayat Samiti, 46 thousand 260 in Kotkhavda, 87 thousand 965 in Sanganer, 43 in Tunga had cast their vote.
During the third phase of polling, District Election Officer and District Collector Shri Nehra inspected various polling stations of Andhi, Jamwaramgarh, Bassi, Tunga, Chaksu, Kotkhavda and Sanganer Panchayat Samitis.
Voting in ward number 9 of Jalsu on September 3rd
According to the information of the Returning Officer office of Jalsu Panchayat Samiti, under Panchayat Samiti General Election 2021, polling at polling station numbers 46, 52, 53, 54 and 55 of constituency number 9 of Panchayat Samiti Jalsu will be held on September 3 from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
By issuing an order, the District Election Officer has declared a dry day in the constituency of ward number 9 and its 5 km radius area from 5:30 pm on 1st September 2021 to 5:30 pm on 3rd September 2021.
Also, the polling day will be a public holiday in the constituency under the Negotiable Written Act, 1881.
