Jaipur, 6 September. Trinetra Ganesh Temple at Ranthambore, Sawai Madhopur, will remain closed from September 7 to September 12. This time there won’t be a fair.
Sawai Madhopur District Collector has written a letter to Collector of Tonk, Dausa, Karauli, Jaipur, Bundi and Sheopur of Madhya Pradesh urging that the travellers should not leave the house for Trinetra Ganesh temple, yet if any traveller, pedestrian, group from their homes have left, then stop them. Immediate action must be taken to return them to their homes.
The District Collector has instructed all the sub-divisional officers, police officers of Sawai Madhopur district to stop the devotees at the entry point of the subdivision or police station area.
In this regard, instructions have also been given to the roadways officers to get this information circulated at the bus stands. It is noteworthy that the Sawaimadhopur SDM has taken this decision to ensure compliance of the request of the temple trust and the corona guidelines.
Section 144 has been imposed in the district for the prevention of corona infection. Religious, social, cultural, political events and processions of any kind are prohibited. Along with this, according to the order issued by the Home Department on July 10 and July 16, there is a ban on organizing any kind of religious ceremony.
