Jaipur, 2 September. Chief Secretary Shri Niranjan Arya has directed the officers to include various regional features of Rajasthan in the redevelopment of the Rajasthan House located in New Delhi. Shri Arya was presiding over the meeting related to the redevelopment of Rajasthan House at the Government Secretariat here on Thursday.
Arya said that for the reconstruction of this house located on Prithviraj Road, New Delhi, the interior of the houses built in New Delhi of other states should also be studied. Along with this, it should also be ensured to follow the local rules while renovating it.
He said that in the redevelopment of the house, along with facilitating the movement of other VVIPs including the Chief Minister, their privacy should also be taken care of. Shri Arya also inquired about various aspects including greenery, proper facilities for vehicular movement and parking, the interior of the rooms and architecture in Rajasthan House.
In the meeting, the architect who was redeveloping the Rajasthan House explained its plan in detail through a presentation. In the meeting, Principal Housing Commissioner Smt. Roli Singh gave her suggestions through video conferencing.
On this occasion, the Principal Secretary to the Public Works Department, Mr Rajesh Yadav and the Principal Secretary to the General Administration, Mrs Gayatri A. The concerned departmental high officials including Rathod were present.
