A record 14 thousand participants participated in the final stage competition on 6th September.
Jaipur, 6 September. More than thirty-seven thousand youth participated in the three phases of the state-level ‘Rajiv-2021 Digital Quizthon’ organized to celebrate our former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi’s contribution to the younger generation. This was also aimed at making them aware of the development taking place in the field of information technology. A record 14 thousand participants participated in the final stage competition on 6th September.
College Education Commissioner Shri Sandesh Nayak said that on the call of the Chief Minister, a digital quizthon was held on 20th August under the joint aegis of the College Education Department and Information Technology and Communication Department. Under this, online examinations were organized in three phases for the students studying in all the colleges, universities, polytechnics and engineering colleges of the state and private sector. Thirty-seven thousand and 221 youths and girls enthusiastically participated in all three competitions.
Shri Nayak said that in the first phase, 12 thousand 846 students participated in the online test based test on information technology.
In the second phase, 10 thousand 273 students appeared in the examination conducted on September 3 on the topic ‘Good Governance through Information Technology Innovations in Local Administration’.
Similarly, in the last phase of the competition held on 6th September on the subject of general knowledge and current affairs, 14 thousand 102 students took the exam.
Commissioner Mr Sandesh Nayak informed that the result of these competitions will be declared on September 10. It is proposed to distribute the prizes to the winners on 15th September. He said that in each of the three competitions, the best 25 participants would be given one tab each as first prize. The next 30 participants would be awarded the second prize. In this way, a total of 75 first prizes and 90-second prizes will be given in all three competitions.
