Jaipur, 21 Sept. Chief Minister Mr Ashok Gehlot has approved the creation of a total of 228 new posts including 57 posts of programmers and 171 posts of information assistants in the newly created 57 Panchayat Samitis. With the creation of these posts, the state government will have an annual financial burden of Rs.1526.93 lakh.
It is noteworthy that under the Economy Circular of the Finance (Aay-Expenditure) Department, there is a ban on the creation of all other types of posts except the budget announcements and the implementation of the announcements made by the Chief Minister. In such a situation, keeping in view the importance of IT related works in these newly created Panchayat Samitis, the Chief Minister has approved the creation of these posts while approving the relaxation in the creation of new posts.

Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved an additional provision of Rs 852.61 lakh for the outstanding salary of the employees working in Engineering College, Bikaner and Jhalawar for the month of July 2021. A proposal in this regard was sent by the Finance Department.
