Jaipur, September 21. The country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of independence under which several programmes are being organized in the country. The department of industry and commerce will also lay the foundation stone of 75 industrial areas to commemorate the festival. This was stated by the minister of industry, Shri Parsadi Lal Meena at the commerce festival at Jawahar Kala Kendra on Tuesday. He said that the state government is working to take up industrial activities at the sub-division level to create employment opportunities at the local level.
Shri Meena said that the department has launched ‘be a mission exporter’ for promoting exports from the state. Where people are being made aware of export-related activities. He said that the issuance of export licences is also being helped so that more and more people become self-reliant in the field of exports. He said the focus of the government is to create an industry environment in the state, to set up more and more industries, increase exports and provide employment to the youth. the minister also visited the exhibition of handicraft products organized by EPCH.

The chief secretary, Shri Niranjan Arya said that exports not only add commerce-related activity but also the image of the country to these products. Today, the name of the producers has dominated the product. Before buying the product, it is seen who is the producer of it. Therefore, continuous export of high-quality products will create a picture of the best India. He said that we have to build an image of India so that people blindly rely on made in India products.
Arya said that efforts are being made to give new heights to the wealth and export potential of Rajasthan with the help of the government. Mission Exporter is an important step that has made the process so easy by eliminating the problems in exporting that even an ordinary artisan can send his products abroad.

Secretary to the Government of Industry and Commerce and Managing Director of RIICO Shri Ashutosh A. T. Pednekar said that Commerce Week is being organized to increase the export activities under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. However, Rajasthan had started its efforts long back and launched the mission “Be an Exporter”. He said that this mission is giving positive results. It has become easier for people to become exporters. He said that under this mission, efforts are being made to explain that sending a product to another country is as easy as sending it to any other state of the country.
He said that a positive investment climate has been created in the state. RIPS-2019 has been successful in attracting unexpected investments in the state. Investment proposals worth one lakh crore have been received under the scheme. The sale of record plots by RIICO also shows that investors are willing to invest in the state.
Shri Chandrakant Mishra, Joint Director General of Foreign Trade said that after the Mission Exporter run by the Industries Department the number of new IEC codes have increased. He said that this is the first such mission of the country under which the government itself is saying that you become an exporter, we will help you. During this, he also said about the schemes of the Central Government related to exports.
