Chomu. Late on Tuesday night a police team was attacked with severe stone pelting when it was about to raid an IPL betting racket operating in a house in Amaliya near Veer Hanuman crossing.
Later SHO Hemraj Singh along with officers reached the spot and arrested three persons while most of others escaped.
The police have registered a case against 50 people. Meanwhile, another team of police taking action on another cricket betting racket arrested 3 bookies with Rs 10 lakh cash.
