Minority Affairs, Redressal Minister Mr Shale Mohammad on Tuesday duly inaugurated the newly created District Transport Office in Pokhran, Jaisalmer’s nuclear city by cutting the ribbon and inspected the office.
Addressing the public, the Minority Affairs Minister said that the long-standing demand of the Transport Office of the people of Pokaran has been fulfilled today as the District Transport Office has become operational here and that Pokaran has got a new identity as RJ-55 from the District Transport Office.
Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister and the Transport Minister for getting the approval of the District Transport Office in Pokhran and making it operational in a short time, the Minister for Minority Affairs said that with the opening of the District Transport Office in Pokaran the people of Pokhran wouldn’t have to commute to Jaisalmer for vehicle-related work. He said that this is a big gift for the people of Pokhran and it will bring great relief to the people of Pokhran. He also threw some light on the achievements and the development brought around by the state government and reassured that the government is always working for the benefit of the farmers and the common man.
He also said that new dimensions have been established for the development of the Pokhran area, in which Pokaran Community Health Center has been given the status of a sub-district hospital, which will bring huge benefits in the field of health, while Trauma Center has also been approved here, whose work is also scheduled to begin soon.
He assured the people that in the coming times, under the Jal Jeevan Mission, drinking water would be provided to them through door-to-door tap connections in village panchayats and big villages. He also metaphorically claimed that rivers of development would flow in the Panchayati Raj of the newly created Panchayat Samitis and Gram Panchayats in the district, which is precisely aimed to benefit the common man more than ever.
The Minister for Minority Affairs called upon the people to take full advantage of the unique scheme in the field of health by the Chief Minister “Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme”, in which the provision of free treatment up to Rs.5 lakh has been made through insurance. He called upon the people’s representatives that they should not leave any stone unturned in reaching the benefits of the government’s welfare schemes to the poor sections of society. He also appealed to each family to plant eight medicinal plants under the Ghar Ghar Aushadhi scheme.
On this occasion, the Minister for Minority Affairs presented the learning license to Prem Kumar with his own hands and gave the gift of taking the first learning license from the office. Former district chief Abdullah Fakir too said that the public will get a big relief from the Pokaran transport office and lastly thanked all the guests.
