Jaipur, September 14. Shri Kalraj Mishra the governor and chancellor told to provide agricultural courses, research, and research work in Hindi for farmers. he has said that agricultural technology and agricultural materials will be manufactured in Hindi farmers will get the advantage in real terms.
On Tuesday he was addressing the 9th foundation day celebrations of Shri Mishra agricultural university, jodhpur online from Raj Bhavan here during the function, the governor dedicated a video conferencing facility and soil and water testing mobile laboratory among various units of the university. he also laid the foundation stone of the examination hall of the university.
Shri Mishra said agricultural universities should work to increase the income of farmers. Coordinated farming needs to be done by connecting farmers with farming and related processing industries. Farmers can make more profit by increasing production, making better use of available resources in coordination with crop production, animal husbandry, fruit and vegetable production, fisheries, forestry, etc.,. He also told to train tribal and scheduled sub-plan youth in modern agriculture, crop storage, and food processing so that these youth can start farming-related jobs.
The governor said agricultural scientists and students be sent to farms and village visits regularly. He said this will provide an opportunity for agricultural students to know and understand traditional agriculture.
The chancellor said about the development of new capacity chia production technology by the agricultural university, jodhpur, new research on chamomile tea, chikori coffee, ragi, and kangani. He was a B.Tech in dairy technology and agricultural engineering at the university.
The governor said the shortage of academic and non-academic personnel in universities, detailed guidelines have been given on roster reservation of posts for starting the recruitment process.
In the address of the agriculture commissioner, the government of India, Dr. S.K, Malhotra said that the university of agriculture, jodhpur becomes an important center of agricultural education, research, and research within nine years.
The vice-chancellor of the university, Dr. B.R. Chaudhary shows the progress report of the university in the welcome address and spoke about educational, non-teaching activities and innovations, etc.
The governor showed a booklet, medicinal crop folder, B.Tech. e-launched the course of dairy technology and student-ready operations manual. He also gave awards to agricultural scientists for their good research work.
