Jaipur, September 21: Under the chairmanship of Mr Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, the work-wise review of 44 works of national highways running in the state costing Rs.5169 crore and CRIF costing Rs.2736 crore, Project Director of NH, Executive Engineer, Contractor and Consultant was done.
The Principal Secretary of Government directed the officials and contractors associated with the projects to increase the speed of works, improve the quality and complete the works in a time-bound manner.
The Principal Secretary, Public Works directed to take action by setting a time-bound plan to remove the encroachments on the National Highways and also to do tree plantation and median plantation on the National Highway land.
He directed the concerned officers to complete the repair works on the national highways on a priority basis.
In the meeting, Secretary to Government, Shri Chinn Hari Meena, Dr. Meghwal Chief Engineer (NH PPP), Chief Engineer and Regional Officer, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Alok Dipankar and other officers were present.
