Jaipur: Rajasthan roadways will resume operations of all its buses from Friday. Rajeshwar Singh, CMD of Rajasthan state road transport corporation, directed the officials to resume operations of all the buses so that people face no problem related with the availability of public transport during Diwali and in normal days.
The decision was taken to restore the public transport system properly during the covid pandemic.
Apart from the routes within the state, roadways buses will resume services to 11 other states including Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, HP, Chandigarh, J&K, U’khand among others. Roadways’ 2306 buses will conduct 5361 rounds on 1216 routes.
Singh has appealed to people to book tickets online. A 5 percent cashback facility is available on online ticket booking.
