Bharatpur, 11th June – The state government is continuously making crucial decisions for the development and expansion of traditional medical systems in the state. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the establishment of a Regimental Hijama Therapy Excellence Center under the Unani medical category in Bharatpur. In addition, the proposal for creating 11 new positions for the center’s operation has also been approved.
For the operation of the center, the positions of Chief Unani Medical Officer, Senior Unani Medical Officer Grade-I, Laboratory Technician, and Junior Assistant will be created, including a total of 11 new positions. The services of attendants, ward boys, masseurs, guards, and sweepers will be outsourced on a contract basis. Furniture and equipment necessary for the center will be purchased at a cost of 10 lakhs rupees. The initial operations will be carried out in available buildings of government medical institutions.
CM Gehlot’s decision will promote traditional medical practices in the state. Local people will be able to benefit from Regimental Hijama Therapy through the Excellence Center.
