Retired Major General Alok Raj Appointed as the New Chairman of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board

Jaipur | The Rajasthan government has appointed retired Major General Alok Raj as the new chairman of the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB).

Alok Raj has served in the Indian Army for over 37 years. He was commissioned into the first battalion of the Sikh Light Infantry in June 1983. Major General Alok Raj has held significant positions, including serving as a Brigadier in the Army and ADG NCC Maharashtra.

Recruitment for Information Assistants, Junior Accountants, Tehsil Revenue Accountants, Contractual Female Health Workers, Contractual Nurses, Computer Operators, Supervisors, Agricultural Supervisors, and Supervisor positions are scheduled for September and October.

It is worth noting that the president of the Rajasthan Unemployed Integrated Federation, Upen Yadav, has been on a hunger strike since August 12th for the appointment of a new chairman.

The previous chairman, Hariprasad Sharma, was in office until October 7th, but he resigned earlier.

After the paper leak incident, the government has appointed a retired military officer to take charge in an effort to improve the image of the organization.
