Jaipur, September 15. smart classes will start soon in government medical colleges in the state. On Wednesday a virtual meeting was held at medical education Bhawan. Details of the advantages of smart classes and requirements to start them were discussed in the meeting.
Secretary of medical education Shri Vaibhav Galaria, told that the state government hopes to provide more benefit to the students by including modern technology in the field of education. With these objective efforts are being made to start smart classes in medical colleges. These smart glasses will be for MBBS courses and will soon be in PG classes as well.
Shri Galaria said that in medical colleges which have 100 to 150 MBBS seats there will be one smart class and 2 smart classes for those with 250 students. Smart class needs 16mbps of internet data.
The medical education commissioner said that efforts are being made to make a system in which smart class videos should not only be saved for future viewing but also students of other colleges can attend the lecture of a smart class of a medical college in real-time. All videos of the smart class will be saved on the centralized server.
