The world famous only Brahma temple at Pushkar is in dilapidated condition and can collapse at any time. The Brahma Temple is situated in the heart of the Pushkar Valley. Here Brahma appears in a four-faced form.
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, there have been major cracks in many parts of the temple. It can fall anytime. The world famous temple which devotees from all corners of the world come here to see, has 3 big cracks in its structure. The floor has also sunk in places.
Sukhram Bhinder, secretary of the temple committee and SDM Pushkar, said, “There have been big cracks in many parts of the temple. It may collapse at some point. I have done it, but there is no answer.”
SDM Pushkar told that the design of the valley is like a saucer. To carry the sewer out of here it has to be gathered in one place. Then it can be lifted and taken out. The administration estimates that for this at least Rs 150 crore. needed.
No work can be done in this temple without the approval of ASI. If the ASI continues to delay like this, then this heritage may collapse at any time.
Drains and sewer water is entering 52 ghats of Pushkar lake.
