Jaipur News. Illegal sale of tickets for IPL 2023 in Jaipur has gained momentum, with the police taking action against more than a dozen individuals involved in betting. However, the black market for tickets continues to thrive.
Those involved in selling tickets in the black market stand in groups near all gates of the stadium. They have already purchased tickets online through bookings and are now reselling them offline.
Tickets for IPL matches are being sold in the black market at prices ranging from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1000 more than the original price.
Sulesh Chaudhary, Additional DCP Crime, stated that no complaints have been received regarding such activities.
Black marketing of tickets is illegal and is a crime. People should apply online and only purchase tickets from authorized sources.
Strict punishment should be given to these offenders so that a message is sent that such activities are unacceptable.
