UP STF killed mafia don Anil Dujana in an encounter in Bholaki Jhaal of Jani police station area in Meerut this afternoon. The infamous gangster, also known as Anil Nagar, was facing several serious cases, including murder, robbery, and kidnapping. Anil Dujana had been on the run from the STF and UP police for several days.
Gangster Anil Dujana had 62 serious cases registered against him, including 18 murders, robbery, illegal land possession, and evicting people from their land, and Arms Act. He was also charged with the RASUKA and Gangster Act. He had attacked Sundar Bhati with an AK-47.
Anil Dujana had been in jail since 2012 and was released on bail in January 2021. The Bulandshahr police had put a reward of Rs 25,000 on him, and the Noida police had put a reward of Rs 50,000 on him. The court had issued a non-bailable warrant as the cases were not presented in court.
