Jaipur, 14th September. Along with the increasing cyber literacy in the country, there is a need of keeping increased awareness for women. It is believed by the cyber experts that in the virtual world relatively weaker classes are targeted more. For yielding awareness in women from cyber crimes in this digital era an online webinar was arranged.
This webinar was organized under the corporate society responsibility by the Rajasthan knowledge corporation as per the instructions of information technology and communication sector secretary Mr.Alok Gupta. The objective of the webinar was to increase awareness of women from cybercrimes. In the webinar Mr. Nishith Dixit, the cyber law expert told that some antisocial elements use the world of the internet in the wrong way. Acts like phishing, malware, forming, online recovery, blackmailing, Trojan, and virus are done online. He said the in the digital world women are often targeted for misbehavior, treat, being followed, and even for sexual abuse.
According to cyber experts, women can keep themselves safe in the digital world by following small steps. He said that women shouldn’t make their identity public without any reason, they shouldn’t click on unsecured links, they shouldn’t fall for online temptations and they should use the privacy setting available.
Nirbhaya suad DSP Mrs. Sunita Mandi made sure that all possible steps are being taken for the safety of women in the webinar. Explaining the efforts of the state government and the police department she said that women should be filled with self-confidence. She said that in the time of danger dial emergency numbers like 100 and 112 along with this by calling of helpline number 1090 you can come in contact with nirbhaya squad. She said that the identity of the complainant will be kept hidden.
RKCL company secretary Mrs Madhu Rathi kept forward the efforts of the company in the webinar. The operation of the webinar was done by the regional manager Mr. Vishal Chakraborty.
