Information assistants were installed to give information about the procedures of transport services.
Jaipur, 26 Aug. The ‘May I Help You’ counter set up at the entrance of the (Regional Transport Office) RTO Jaipur has now been bettered. In the absence of complete knowledge of the process of transport services, people will not have to make rounds in the office. Nor will the agents have to get the work done by paying an extra amount.
RTO Jaipur Shri Rakesh Sharma told that in the past, information was being provided at the counter through telephone by the same employee. At the same time, now the work capacity has been increased by adding two information assistants and one guard.
Special arrangement for ‘special people’
He said that the questionable problems of the applicants would be resolved by the transport staff. They will also provide the desired help in filling the online form of the prescribed procedure related to the works of transport services of special persons, senior citizens and women. All the necessary resources including computers are available at this counter.
Disabled people will enter through the main gate
Shri Sharma said that the entry for the specially-abled will remain near the main gate of the office. He said that due to a lack of knowledge of the process of work for registration and licensing of vehicles and various other services, the common man is used to face unnecessary problems. Special persons, senior citizens and women had to face a lot of trouble. In view of this problem, the working capacity at the counter has been increased.
