Jaipur News: Health Minister Dr. Raghu Sharma said that capacity to conduct 51,640 tests per day has been developed in the State. He said that at present the testing facility is available in 22 districts and soon testing would start in remaining districts.
Dr Sharma said that the number of corona tests is continuously increased and for this, order for two Cobas-8800 machines has been placed in America. The first machine will reach by the end of August, while the other machine will reach in the month of October. With these machines, the testing in the State will increase to more than 60,000 per day.
He said that at present daily more than 34,000 tests are being done throughout the State.
CHC equipped with all facilities will be opened in each assembly constituency
The Health Minister said that a community health centre (CHC) equipped with all facilities will be opened at each assembly constituency. Public representatives will select the CHC. Residents of that area will not have to come to cities for treatment. He said that the State Government will work with complete focus on it.
79% of patients are getting recovered
Dr Sharma said that the rate of positivity is 3.4%, which is lowest in the country. He said that 79% of the people have gone home after getting recovered from corona. If positive cases in the State are increasing then patients in the same ratio are also getting recovered. He said the entire focus of the Government is on increasing the recovery ratio and reducing the mortality rate, in which the Government has been successful. The mortality rate at present in the State is 1.3% and it is further reducing.
General public will get better medical facilities with two medical colleges and three super speciality blocks
The Health Minister said that the Chief Minister on Wednesday laid the foundation stone of two medical colleges being built with an estimated cost of Rs 828 crore at Bhilwara and Bharatpur and three superspeciality blocks at Bikaner, Kota and Udaipur. Union Health Minister and other eminent people were present on this occasion. Residents of these divisions will start getting better medical facilities of superspeciality. The Chief Minister during this programme requested the Union Health Minister to approve medical colleges in the remaining three districts namely Rajsamand, Jalore and Pratapgarh. He requested that if relaxation in the rules is given in few districts then the dream of opening government medical colleges in all the districts would get fulfilled.
Exams will be conducted again for recruitment of 2,000 doctors
Dr. Sharma said that the recruitment of 2,000 doctors was in process, but there were some loopholes in the exam due to which it was reviewed. The committee has decided to again recruit 2,000 doctors, so exams will be conducted by again releasing
advertisements for all the posts. He said that the Chief Minister has directed to complete this recruitment as early as possible. The department officers have assured to complete this process within one to one and a half months.
Rajasthan is leading in all parameters
The Health Minister said that around 75,000 people are in quarantine in the State. In regard to doubling rate or fatality rate or recovery rate, the State is leading in all the parameters. He said even the Prime Minister had praised the Government’s management at the micro level and today the Union Health Minister also praised the State. He said that the State Government in coming days will firmly face this challenge.
Corona will get defeated with your cautiousness
Dr Sharma said that more relaxations will be given in the State for unlocking and in such a situation corona can be defeated only with your cautiousness. The State Government is running an awareness campaign for the last one month in the entire State. If the people adopt the corona protocol like not leaving the house without wearing a mask, not going in crowds or in groups and frequently washing hands with soap, then corona will not stay for more days in the State or country.
