Grant under irrigation pipeline scheme will be available only after the completion of all formalities on the portal – agricultural minister.

Jaipur, 17^th September. Agricultural minister, Mr. Lal Chand Kataria on Friday in the legislative assembly said that the administrative and financial approval of 16 applicants could not be issued in the year 2019 – 20 due to lapses in the application under the irrigation pipeline scheme in sojat constituency. He assured that all these applicants will definitely be given a grant on re-applying on the portal after correcting the deficiencies as per the guidelines.

Mr. Kataria was answering the important question related to this in the assembly in question hour. He said that the government has no storage of funds for the scheme. Under the scheme, each farmer has been provided with benefits. He said that after correcting the deficiencies in the application, benefits will be given on reapplying and the officers of the department have also been directed in this regard.

Earlier, in a written reply to the original question of MLA, Mrs.Shobha Chauhan, Mr. Kataria said that in the financial year 2019 – 20, 26 letters were received through the portal under the irrigation pipeline program in sojat, out of which 13 letters were given administrative approval. The financial approval of 10 letters was issued, 3 letters were canceled due to non – establishment of pipelines by farmers. In the year 2020 – 21 6 applications were received through the portal out of which administrative approval and financial approval of all 6 files were issued.

He said that under the irrigation pipeline program in the Vidhan sabha constituency sojat, an amount of 1lakh 16 thousand 664 was allocated in the financial year 2019 – 20 and Rs. 57 thousand 175  was allocated in the year 2020 – 21, in which the entire amount was utilized and no there was no balance.

Mr.Kataria informed that administrative and financial approval of 16 applicants was not issued in the financial year 2019 – 20 in the Sojat Assembly constituency, due to which the letters were not being processed as per the departmental guidelines. Administrative and financial approval of all 6 applicants was issued in the financial year 2020 – 21, no application was canceled.
