Jaipur, 15th September. Under the national food security scheme along with the food grains many other amenities are also provided to deserving families but violating the rules of the food security act 2013, the gain of these amenities is taken by the official/ employees illegally. In the next 15 days, the action of procurement will be taken against these officials/ employees.
Last year many political officials/ employees were marked for taking inappropriate benefit of this scheme by a survey held in the district. After marking the proceedings of procurement was started against these under which 6215 officials/ employees were found guilty from which procurement has been done from 3424 officials/ employees and the proceedings of procurement are still going on for the rest 2791 officials/ employee.
District ration officer (second) Mrs. Pratiha Parik that action of procurement from the officials/ employees who have violated the rules food security act 2013 and have taken illegal benefit will be completed in the time period of next 15 days.
If any official/ employee is in the list of food security and under the food security scheme he has got wheat and if he is not able to deposit the recovery amount of wheat with economic cost and at the rate of rs.27 per kg as the base of departmental expenses by 30th September then the name of the said official will be highlighted in the newspaper and an FIR will be filed against him under the essential commodities act 1955 and national food security act 2013 in a related police station. Along with this, after deducting the recovery amount from their salary, departmental disciplinary action will be taken against the officer/employee concerned under the CCA rule.
