The action intensified across the state against illegal mining and transportation.

Over 45 vehicles were seized, crores worth FIR registered with the police along with the fine.

Jaipur, 4 September. Strict action against illegal mining and transportation is going on across the state. Additional Chief Secretary, Mines, Dr. Subodh Agrawal informed that in the last 24 to 48 hours, more than 45 vehicles of illegal transport have been seized in the state during night operations, while police station of Neem of Sikar, Udaipurwati of Jhunjhunu, Jhala of Pali Raipur. Taking action against illegal mining at many places including the outpost, FIR has been lodged with the police.

Action is being taken on illegal mining in the forest area in Bagoli of Udaipurwati in coordination with the Forest Department. Joint action is being taken by Police Administration and Mines Department across the state.

Dr. Aggarwal informed that taking major action against illegal mining and transportation in the state, five vehicles of iron ore have been confiscated in the police station of Neem. At the same time, an FIR has been lodged at Neem Ka Thana Sikar. He said that while taking action against illegal mining in the forest area of ​​Udaipurwati, the process of FIR is going on in coordination with the Forest Department.

Illegal storage of 700 tonnes of iron ore was also found in Bagholi. 27 lakh in view of illegal mining here. A fine of Rs. Similarly, 4 vehicles carrying illegal transport have been seized in Sawai Madhopur. Four vehicles have been seized in Barauni and Peeplu in Tonk district. Similarly, there is news of action in Kotputli’s Paota.

He informed that this action is being taken by his team under the leadership of Jaipur SME Shri Pratap Meena. Taking action in Chandwaji, Bassi and Kanota of Jaipur, 3 vehicles have been seized. In Karauli, 3 vehicles for illegal transportation of gravel and two vehicles in Bharatpur for illegal dust have been seized.

ACS Dr. Aggarwal informed that five trolleys have been seized while illegally transporting Felspar in Rishabhdev of Udaipur division. Under the leadership of Additional Director Udaipur Shri Mahesh Mathur, in the last two to three days, 10 vehicles have been seized and a total of about Rs 5 crore has been collected from the Proceedings for imposition of fine.

There is news of seizure of a vehicle in Rajsamand. Similarly, 6 vehicles have been seized in Bhilwara in which one China Clay, 3 Masonry Stone and 2 vehicles of illegal gravel transport have been seized. Two vehicles have been seized in Bhilwara’s Mandal itself.

Mr. Agrawal informed that while taking action on illegal mining near 293/2009 and 294/2009, a fine of Rs. He said that vehicles have been seized while illegally transporting them in Jaisalmer, Sindri and Gogunda of Barmer. He said that all the officers have been instructed to take strict action against illegal mining and transportation.
