Jaipur, 21 Sept. Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the reconstitution of the District Level Committee for maintaining law and order and effective control of crimes in the districts of the state.
This committee constituted under the chairmanship of the concerned District Magistrate will be more useful in maintaining law and order at the district level, removing the difficulties and problems in crime control as well as establishing better coordination among the district level officers.
In this committee, the Superintendent of Police or Deputy Commissioner of Police and Public Prosecutor will be the member and the Assistant Director of Prosecution will be the member secretary. The Chief Minister has directed to ensure that the meetings of the committee are held regularly.
