Avni Lakhera, who won the gold medal in the shooting competition at Tokyo Paralympics, was nominated as the state brand ambassador of the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” scheme.
Jaipur, August 31. Women and Child Development Minister Mamta Bhupesh congratulated Avni Lakhera of Jaipur. She has won the gold medal in the shooting competition at Tokyo Paralympics. She has said that she won a historic victory with hard work and dedication by defeating all her challenges with courage. The department has nominated Avni Lakhera as the state brand ambassador of the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” scheme.
In her congratulatory message, Mrs Mamta Bhupesh said that the department is proud to have named Avni Lakhera as the brand ambassador of the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme as a symbol of the pride of daughters.
Congratulating Avani on winning the gold medal for India, Smt. Shreya Guha, Principal Secretary of, Women and Child Development Department, said that through Avani Lakhera, an enabling environment would be created in the society to educate and promote daughters.
