Jaipur, August 25. Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Chairperson Sangeeta Beniwal has said that drug addiction is a curse. It enters a person’s life and destroys home, family and society.
On Wednesday at the Government Law College, Churu, the State Government’s Department of Art, Literature, Culture and Archeology, District Administration and Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti was celebrating the Sadbhavna Week . Here,Beniwal spoke on “The impact on the lives of children and women due to intoxication and the Path to Liberation”. she said that a person chooses intoxication but it affects the children and women in the whole family. Hence the role of women in the family becomes important.
Beniwal also said that youth are getting attracted to drugs even in the show of fashion and modernity. In such a situation everyone must take up the responsibility of spreading awareness about the ill-effects of drugs. She said that we should be a responsible citizen and work towards freedom from drugs in the interest of the society. She said that we should take a pledge that we would make great efforts to stay away from drugs. We should also spread awareness about drugs and help people to overcome stress and neglect.
Necessary instructions given to officers inspecting communication home and girl shelter home
The President of Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Smt. Sangeeta Beniwal, on Wednesday inspected the communication home and girls shelter home located at the district headquarters and gave necessary instructions to the officers and administrators.
She Received information about food, water and medical arrangements in the communication house. Mrs. Beniwal said that proper arrangements for food and medicine should be ensured for the children in the communication house. After receiving the complaint related to child welfare from Manoj Saini, member of Child Welfare Committee ,she assured of early disposal.

The State Government’s Art, Literature, Culture and Archeology Department, District Administration and Mahatma Gandhi Jeevan Darshan Samiti organized a District level singing competition at Government Sarvhitkarini Putri Pathshala Churu on Wednesday as part of the Sadbhavna Week .
On this occasion, the Chairperson of the Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, Smt. Sangeeta Beniwal has said that today we need to follow the footsteps of the Father of the Nation. He said that education stays with us for life. No work in life is small or big. Standing on one’s own feet is important in life. Hence there is a need to think about complete education first then marriage. He said that it is necessary for us to be aware of social evils like child marriage and connect with education. She expressed her gratitude to the organizers of the competition. She also added that one gets a lot of relief on hearing the favorite hymn of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, God – Allah is One.
