Jaipur, 14th September. Youth affairs and game department to arrange rural Olympic Games in Rajasthan in the month of November to find rural geniuses and to maintain the environment of games in the village. It will be the first time when in the whole state more the 50 lakh players will participate in the rural Olympic Games in one day.
Youth affairs and sports department president Mr. Vikas Sitaramji Bhalle told the according to the budget announcement of the year 2021-22 by chief minister Mr. Ashok Gahlot, to bring forward the sports geniuses of the village Olympic Games will be arranged on panchayat level, block level, district level and state level in Rajasthan.
He told that the Olympic Games will be arranged in all 11 thousand 341 village panchayats. A total of 6 types of games like kabaddi, shooting volleyball, tennis ball cricket, kho-kho, volleyball, and hockey will be organized in this Olympics.
To make the arrangement of rural Olympic Games successful at the district level every district collector has been given the instructions to prepare the sports ground, PT teachers, and sports experts. They have also been instructed to make as many registrations of the players as possible. To make the arrangements of games, sport dresses for the players, sports stuff and prizes more than 25 thousand rupees will be spent on each village panchayat. The state government will be spending more than 43 crore rupees so that the sports geniuses are able to get a stage to showcase their talent. The help of the local bhamashahs will also be taken for the arrangement of the games.
