Celebration of the 9th establishment day of an agricultural university, jodhpur- agricultural syllabus, research, and research work to be made available in Hindi for the betterment of farmers – Governor.
Jaipur, 14th September. Governor and Chancellor Mr.Kaalraj Mishra laid pressure on making agricultural syllabus, research, and research work available in Hindi for the betterment of farmers. He said that agricultural techniques and all the things related to agriculture will be prepared in Hindi then only it will have comprehensive propaganda and the farmers will be able to gain knowledge from it in actual form.
Governor Mr. Mishra was addressing the celebration of the 9th establishment day of an agricultural university, Jodhpur online from Raj Bhavan on Tuesday. During the seminar, the governor launched the facility of video conferencing and soil and water inspection laboratory through the medium of diverse units in the university.
Mr. Mishra said that along with increasing the agricultural production the university should also work for increasing the income of the farmers. For this, there is a need of joining farmers with farming-related processing industries and encourage coordinated farming. By the coordination of crop production, animal husbandry, fruit and vegetable production, fisheries, foster, and more there can be a better use of agricultural resources through which the profit of increased production can happen. He also expressed the need of training the youths of tribesmen and scheduled sub-scheme areas for modern farming, crop storage, and fertilizer processing so that they can be employed in the agricultural sector and be independent.
Governor Mr Mishra suggested sending agricultural scientists and scholars to farms and villages to take rounds at regular intervals. He said that from this not only the farmers will get the benefit of knowing about the new researches but the farming students will also get a chance to understand and know about our traditional farmers.
Vice-chancellor appreciated the agricultural university, jodhpur for doing the research on the development of the latest capable chia production technique, chamomile tea, chikori coffee, ragi, and kangani. He also expressed his happiness at the starting of the B.Tech syllabus in dairy technology and agricultural engineering in the university.
Mr. Mishra said that on seeing the shortage of educated and non-educated personnel in the university for starting the process of recruitment all the detailed directional instructions are provided in the subject roster reservation.
Indian government agricultural president Dr. SK Malhotra in his speech said that agricultural university, Jodhpur has emerged out to be one of the most important centers on agricultural education, research, and research work in just 9 years of establishment.
In the welcome inauguration of the university, the vice-chancellor presented the progress report and gave information about academics, non-teaching activities, innovations, etc.
On this event, the governor e-launched a booklet based on the [past 5 years of achievements made by the university, medicinal crop folder, B.Tech dairy technology syllabus, and student ready operational manual. He also awarded the agricultural scientists for their notable research works.
In the event the governor Mr Mishra made the attendees do a reading of our constitutional objectives and original duties. Secretary of the governor Mr Subir Kumar, chief privileged Mr. Govind Ram Jaiswal, registrar of the agricultural university Mr Arun Kumar Purohit were present online in the event.
