Jaipur, 21st September. A meeting of the Railway Coordination Committee of West Central Railway was held at the Secretariat on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr Niranjan Arya. In the meeting, Mt.Arya reviewed the action taken by the Railways from the State Government and the action taken by the concerned departments of the State Government. In the meeting, instructions were given for quota for the important scheme of the state government, Indira Rasoi and to the DRM quota regarding the space on the railway platform of Kota, Sawai Madhopur and Bharatpur. He said that with this railway passengers will get cheap and quality food.
Mr Aarya directed the PWD department to convert the railway crossing gates of Jhalawar and Karauli into ROBs. He directed Bharatpur Collector to issue NOC to Railways for making 3 ROBs instead of three railway crossing gates of Bharatpur. He directed the Sawai Madhopur Collector to issue NOC for RUB instead of ROB for Gangapur yard. Mr Arya said that in addition to the funding being done by the state government, the railways should also contribute to the demand for construction of ROB by the general public in Gangapur City.
Regarding the matter of encroachment by people on railway land in Kota, Shri Arya directed the Kota Collector to conduct a joint survey with the railway team and get the land freed from encroachment. He directed the PWD department to speed up the work of construction of ROB for Chowmehala-Talwali station of Kota-Nagda.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering and Ground Water Department, Mr Sundhansh Pant, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing, Mr Key Lal Meena, Principal Secretary to the Public Works Department Mr Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Government Secretary of Autonomous Government Department, Mr Shri Bhavani Singh Detha and Commissioner of Transport Department Shri Mahendra Soni also participated.
