Jaipur, September 18. on Saturday the state assembly paid homage to a former member of Rajasthan assembly Shri Dayakrishna Vijay on his demise. During the meeting, all the members were in silence for two minutes and prayed to God to give peace to his soul and to give strength to their families.
Dr. C.P. Joshi mentioned services given by late Shri Dayakrishna Vijay in political, social, and other fields, and told he was a member of the privileges committee and the estimates committee. Late Shri Vijay was three times the president of Rajasthan Sahitya academy. Many of his books were published and he also received various awards in the field of literature. He passed away on 16th July 2021.
