According to the reports rapid developments have been done in the field of the renewable energy in India. A meeting was held to resolve all issues being faced by the private investors of renewable energy sector of Rajasthan.
Dr. Subodh Agarwal, chairman and managing director of the corporation in Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation addressed the challenges in the development of solar, wind, hybrid renewable energy projects being developed by private investors in the state. A joint meeting of the Corporation and the Energy Department was organized.
In the meeting, Dr. Agrawal said that private investors were made aware of the obstacles and problems faced in the implementation of these projects, such as land allotment, lease, revenue, power transmission and Godavan conservation (GIBD) etc. Suggestions were also given to ease the situation.
Dr. Subodh Agrawal and Joint Secretary, Energy Smt. Anupama Jorwal assured that necessary solutions will be going to be taken to tackle the issues faced by the private investors.
Dr. Aggarwal informed that two officers of the corporation were appointed as nodal officers to provide a better solution to the problems., who would coordinate with the investors, energy department, revenue department etc. and take action to resolve them immediately.
37500 MW renewable energy projects will be going to construct by the year 2025
Dr. Subodh Agrawal informed that according to the new Solar and Wind Energy Policy 2019 of the Rajasthan, a target has been set to set up 37500 MW renewable energy projects will be going to construct by the year 2025, for which providing a positive environment for investors is the priority of the government. . So far, more than 11000 MW renewable energy projects have been already established in the state.
