Udaipur News. NGO operator Bhojraj Singh has been arrested for taking a bribe of 16,000 rupees in Udaipur by the Anti-Corruption Bureau team. Bhojraj Singh also runs an NGO named “Shri Aasra Vikas Sansthan” in Udaipur.
Bhojraj Singh was collecting commission in the name of salary payments for work done at Child Helpline by accused parties. The ACB team in Chittorgarh took action on this matter late last night.
ACB ADG Hemant Priyadarshi stated that Bhojraj Singh, son of Dalpat Singh and resident of Parsvanath Vihar, Biliya Road, Titaradi, Udaipur, was caught taking a bribe. The ACB was informed of the complaint by the accused parties in Chittorgarh.
The complaint stated that Chittorgarh Child Helpline Director Bhojraj Singh was demanding a bribe of 16,000 rupees in the name of a commission for releasing the salary for work done at Child Helpline. The complainants were being harassed if the bribe was not paid.
ACB DSP Kailash Sandhu led the investigation and after verifying the complaint, the ACB team arrested Bhojraj Singh on Tuesday night for accepting a bribe.
